Welcome Address

Dear Friends,

It is for us a great pleasure to welcome you to Krakow on the occasion of the 3rd Central European Biomedical Congress (CEBC) which motto is News on biomarker discovery and research innovations in medicine and biomedical sciences.

This congress is organized by the Institute of Pharmacology Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow, the Faculty of Medicine Jagiellonian University Medical College, and associated by the Polish Pharmacological Society and the Polish Toxicological Society.

Through a series of plenary lectures, oral sessions, poster sessions and workshops, industry-sponsored symposia and exhibitions, 3rd CEBC provides new information on existing treatments and those under development. The Congress also promotes outstanding opportunities for junior scientists to present research and interact with leaders in the field, including laureates of European Research Council grants.

Adopting a highly multidisciplinary approach, the Congress aims to draw an attendance of clinicians, physicians, pharmacologists, biologists, biotechnologists, chemists and toxicologists, sharing the common goal to promote international scientific cooperation and to exchange of ideas and concepts.
Social programs may help create the network between international experts and students.

Our host city Krakow, is the old capital of Poland placed on UNESCO’s list of World Cultural Heritage. The Wawel Royal Castle, the St. Mary’s Basilica and the largest European medieval market square, Collegium Maius – the oldest part of the Jagiellonian University and the Jewish District Kazimierz are among the attractions of the area. Krakow is a city of culture and academic heart of Poland.

Enjoy the stay in Krakow!

Best regards,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee
